In May, I visited the Faroe Islands to work alongside Conor McNeil and Zoe Timmers on an F8 Photography Workshop. We were lucky to partner with both Visit Faroe Islands and Sandisk Europe, too, so we extended our stay to have extra photography opportunities.
After spending nearly two weeks on the island, I left impressed. It’s a destination that belongs on every landscape photographer’s bucket list, especially while it’s still relatively wild. We encountered few other groups throughout our stay, while routinely enjoying locations to ourselves.
I hope you enjoy these images, and please remember to download your favourite!
Visit Faroe Islands Desktop Wallpapers

For vertical displays, I’ve selected my favourite image from the Faroe Islands. It took three attempts to visit Mykines Island, as high winds canceled our first two ferry rides. This image proves the third time is the charm cliche, as it made the entire journey with it!
