About my Landscape Presentation
Throughout the 90-minute presentation, I will cover everything from camera controls to composition tools. I’ll also dive into light and learning how to both anticipate it and use it to improve your images. After 90-minutes, you will leave with a list of tips or tricks you can put into immediate use on your next walk around the neighborhood or bucket list adventure.
At the end of the presentation, there will be up to 30 minutes available for questions.
About Me
I am an adventure photographer and filmmaker based in Canmore, Alberta. If you haven’t seen my latest film, Choosing to Live (link bit.ly/CTLfilm), go watch it right now and then come back to sign up for this course. I have led photography tours on five continents, including his annual Faroe Islands and Scotland course, that were both sadly cancelled this season. When he isn’t leading photography tours, he works exclusively on adventure travel campaigns for companies like Eddie Bauer and Salsa Cycles or destinations marketing organizations from Jasper, Alberta to Jyrgalan, Kyrgyzstan.
About Jack’s Night Sky Presentation
Throughout the 90-minute presentation, Jack will cover everything from gear selection to planning epic photos of the stars. Learn how to find the best locations for astrophotography and what settings to use to help capture the most amount of detail while keeping your stars looking sharp! The session will provide in-field tips and an overview of processing techniques and software to bring out the most detail in your files.
At the end of the presentation, there will be up to 30 minutes available for questions.
About Jack Fusco
Jack Fusco is a landscape astrophotographer / timelapser based out of San Diego, California. What began as a way purely to document his travels as a touring musician, photography has become his main form of creative expression.
On his often-sleepless journey, he strives to share the wonder of the night sky with as many people as possible. Whether chasing the Milky Way along coast lines or capturing the Northern lights in unforgiving remote locations you’re sure to find him coffee in hand, smiling up at the stars.
Many of Jack’s images are often planned days, weeks, or even months in advance while waiting for weather and celestial objects to align. The resulting work shows a true and complete dedication to his
craft.
His work has been featured by National Geographic, TEDx, LA Times, NASA APOD, BBC, Forbes and many more.
