Immediately after my ski season wound to an end, I packed my vehicle and headed south to Explore Oregon and California. Spring was too busy being on again, off again at home, so I decided to head south in search of summer weather.
First stop? Chasing waterfalls near Portland.
Driving the Historic Columbia River Highway (one of Oregon’s Scenic Byways) was like driving through a fairytale. The forest was so lush, the trees so green, and the waterfalls so huge they wouldn’t fit in a photograph. While Multnomah Falls is, without doubt, the most famous stop along this byway, I found Letourell Falls to be the most stunning. We had it to ourselves.
