When I first launched my Daily Square series, I wanted to feature other adventurers, photographers, and travelers who use instagram to share their adventures. Today, I’m happy to feature my good friend and awesome photographer, Australian IGer Garry Norris.

I met Garry when I hosted the Travel Alberta/Canadian Tourism Commission Alberta1X1 campaign in September 2013 and I have him to blame thank for my new found infatuation.

Garry manages to share 2-3 stunning landscapes every day, despite the fact he still works full time as a chef. He recently took 5 weeks vacation from his day job to explore take part in some pretty sweet looking destination marketing campaigns for Tropical North Queensland, Pure New Zealand, Discover Tasmania, Northern Territory Australia, and Visit New South Wales. The photography trips might have left Garry exhausted, but the images left me speechless.

Fingers crossed Garry will forgo the long hours in the kitchen for more of these types of IG trips in the near future!

When I published the first Daily Square, on April Fools Day, I wrote:

I truly hope to include other stunning adventure photographers as this daily column grows.

I am more interested than ever, so I hope that featuring Australian IGer Garry Norris is just the first of many Daily Square guest posts. My criteria is quite easy, I just require talented outdoor photographers – be it landscape, action sports, or travel – who use IG as their primary social media tool. I also ask for short bio, 3-5 photos, and permission to post them on my blog. I also post 1 image on my instagram account to help promote both your feed and the relevant URL on my site.
