I just picked up my copy of the February/March issue of Canadian Cycling Magazine (issue 7.1) and discovered I have a rare double feature in it!
One of the articles was about a MTB roadtrip across Oregon from last May. It was easily one of the highlights of 2015, as I met my friend Theo Birkner in Portland and we absolutely shredded the trails in Oakridge, Bend, and Hood River. It was hard to believe it was our first time riding bikes together; because Theo and I usually cross paths in the winter.
While in Oregon, I also photographed a short road trip photo essay for ToyotaUSA. Check it out here: Southbound on Steller
The second story in this month’s magazine is P.E.I.’s Cycling Microcosm. It bums me out that I wasn’t able to head east and check out the riding first hand; however, I hope I captured the riding scene of Canada’s smallest province well enough to do it justice.
If you haven’t seen it already, the magazine is on newsstands across Canada until the end of the month. Grab a copy and consider subscribing!
