Thanks to social media, we all have friends we’ve never physically met. For me it’s Brendan Van Son, author of BrendansAdventures.com. We’ve corresponded online for a few years; I set him up on a hike with National Geographic writer Peter Potterfield and he’s handed me plenty of online writing/blog writing advice, encouragement and, dare I say, inadvertent mentoring.
Recently, he’s focusing on his Youtube Channel and one initiative is his photography critiques of other travel photographers. I’ve volunteered for an upcoming video, so I need to post 10 travel photos for his review.
My BrendansAdventures.com Travel Photography Critique Images
I’ve been incredibly fortunate to travel for much of the past decade; however, as all of my readers know, my photography has radically improved in the past year. Because I’ve spent much much of that time exploring Alberta, I’ve elected to use #explorealberta as the theme for this critique.
These are 10 of favorite images captured in my adopted home province.
