Just before I booked my flight to Iceland, I was invited to the 2015 Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival. For obvious reasons, I had to turn it down; however, it wasn’t an easy decision. I really want to attend the main festival; I have taken in the festival’s world tour in Jasper, Alberta, Punta Arenas, Chile, and Mendoza, Argentina.
My friends at Icebreaker have teamed up with the Banff Mountain Film and Book Festival for the next two years, bringing another stunning sponsor onto what is already one of the industry’s very best celebration of mountain lifestyle.
For 2015, I am planning to not only attend the festival, but possibly participate in it. But that is a story for another day, so for now, why not simply enjoy the event’s official trailer.
