September 2016 Desktop Wallpapers

August 31, 2016 by Jeff B. Leave a Comment

After a slow start, August turned into one of the  busiest months of 2016. I’ve spent nearly everyday working alongside travel photographer Brendan van Son, first in Saskatchewan from August 10-16 and then here in Alberta from August 17-31. We have another week to go, too, before we part ways. We’ll be working together again in December, when we co-host  our Cuba Photography Workshop.

In Saskatchewan, Brendan and I visited Grasslands National Park and Cypress Hills Provincial Park, along with the wide-open prairies in between. We discovered far more diversity than expected and my September desktop wallpapers all come from my time the province. If you want to see more images from the experience, check out my Seven Reasons to Explore Saskatchewan post.

After our project in Saskatchewan, we launched into a large project here in Alberta that has us paired up with both Travel Alberta and Google. While that might sound exciting, we haven’t actually a regular photography schedule because we’re hiking a Google Trekker around the hiking trails in the province. We’re exhausted but it’s been quite the experience. I’ll share more about the experience soon, but not until I have a few days to rest! Until then, enjoy these desktop wallpapers from Saskatchewan!

Although  love the simplicity of  the sunset deer image, I wanted to share a second option this month. While we were in Saskatchewan, Brendan and I camped beneath the living skies that are so well known in the province.
