Mulafossur in Gasadalur

Undoubtedly a Favourite. I’ve visited the Faroe Islands on three occasions to help lead the f8 Faroe Islands photography workshop.  Every year, I spend at least an additional week exploring the islands and I always leave looking forward to my return. I figure it’ll only take a few more trips until I master the pronunciation of its many landmarks like Sorvagsvatn, Slaettaratinder and Villingardalsfjall.

At least Mulafossur seems as easy to pronounce as it is to find on the drive into Gasadalur. I typically arrive on an earlier flight that Zoe Timmers and Conor MacNeill, the two other workshop leaders, so I typically shoot this scene while I wait for them to arrive. It’s only a few minutes from the airport.
