Crowfoot Glacier Layers

Description

There isn’t a location in Banff National Park that has provided me with better light than Bow Lake. When I captured this image, I had just wrapped up another stunning sunrise shoot and was slowly driving towards home when the clouds parted and revealed this scene of the Crowfoot Glacier. I scrambled down the steep banks to the lake shore and used a telephoto lens to pull the scene together. It’s my single favorite print on my wall at home.
