Winter Warnings

I have always said my favourite time to photograph the Canadian Rockies is just as the lakes begin to freeze. It’s the time of year when the mountains are covered in fresh snow and the shorelines slowly freeze into incredible foregrounds, but the emerald-coloured water is still visible. That’s exactly when I captured this image of a typical Bow Lake winter.
